§ 01Parties and acceptance

These terms govern the relationship between GeoDog and the person or organisation using the Service ("you"). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these terms and our Privacy policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it to these terms.

§ 02The Service

GeoDog asks AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity questions about a brand or keyword, collects the answers and measures how often — and with which sources — brands appear in them.

The scope, features and plan limits of the Service may evolve over time. We announce significant changes in advance.

§ 03Account and security

You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and up to date, for keeping your password confidential, and for activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use. You decide the access rights of the team members you invite to your workspace.

§ 04Free use

Free use includes a total of 3 successful searches per person and requires no credit card. Failed searches do not count. We may apply reasonable technical limits and verification to prevent abuse of free searches.

§ 05Subscriptions, payment and cancellation

For paid plans:

• Plans are billed monthly in US dollars at the start of each period. TRY amounts shown on the site are approximate equivalents for information only.
• Payments are collected by Polar, acting as merchant of record; taxes are shown at checkout.
• You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep your plan until then.
• Plan limits (monthly searches, number of competitors, etc.) are listed on the pricing page; unused allowances do not roll over.
• Price changes for existing subscriptions are announced before the next billing period.
• Refund requests are handled under Polar's refund policy and applicable consumer law.

§ 06Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

• Carry out unlawful activity or infringe others' intellectual property, personality or privacy rights.
• Overload the systems, try to bypass security measures, or multiply free allowances by automated means.
• Reverse-engineer the Service, or bulk-extract results to build a competing product without attribution to GeoDog.
• Run searches intended to produce misleading, hateful or harmful content.

§ 07Nature of the results

AI assistants' answers vary with the model version, time, location and wording of the question. GeoDog results are samples captured on a specific date under specific conditions and should be read in that context.

Results are not a guarantee of rankings, traffic, sales or any business outcome. Decisions you make based on them are your responsibility.

§ 08Intellectual property

All rights in the GeoDog software, design, brand and methodology belong to GeoDog. You may freely use and share the reports created in your account for your own business purposes. Third-party brands and content appearing in AI answers belong to their owners.

§ 09Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party services such as AI providers, payment and infrastructure services. Outages or changes in those services may temporarily affect some features. GeoDog is not affiliated with OpenAI, Google, Anthropic or Perplexity.

§ 10Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not affect liability for intent or gross negligence, or consumers' statutory rights.

§ 11Suspension and termination

You can close your account at any time. If you seriously breach these terms, we may suspend or close your account, with prior notice where possible. On termination, your data is deleted according to the periods in the Privacy policy.

§ 12Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We announce significant changes by email or in-app notice at least 15 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the changes means you accept the updated terms.

§ 13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Users acting as consumers keep the mandatory rights granted by the laws of their country. For questions, write to hello@geodog.co.
